Who we are
China Car Assist operates an independent European service network for Chinese vehicles, covering Spain, France and Italy. The website is chinacarassist.com.
What we collect
For a driver request: first name, optional last name, email, phone, preferred language, country, postal code, city, vehicle brand, model, year, powertrain, optional VIN, the description of the problem and any photos you choose to attach. For workshops: company information, contact details, capabilities and equipment.
Data minimisation
The VIN, registration plate, full maintenance history and home address are never required. We only ask for what is needed to identify a suitable workshop and follow your case.
Why we use it
To review your request, select an appropriate partner workshop, arrange an appointment, follow the outcome of the repair and improve the technical knowledge of the network.
Who can see it
The China Car Assist team, and the partner workshop your case is assigned to. Workshops never see the data of other workshops. Internal notes are never shared with workshops.
Consent
Accepting this policy is required to send a request. Marketing communication is a separate, optional consent that is never pre-selected. Every consent is recorded with its policy version and date.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
Retention
Case data is kept while it is needed to operate the service and to meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
